This is officially week 9 of 10 of working here at Craters of the Moon and this is one of the last few posts that I have left to write. The experience has been superb and exceeded my expectations more than what I ever imagined it would. Out of all the things I get to do here each one of the has given me a memory to add to my mental scrapbook. I have had a blast and feel grateful to have been able to spend time and get to know some of the workers at Craters of the Moon. It may not seem like a long time, but for someone who has never been away from home much less live on their own it's been challenging and felt longer than what it seems. I feel like I have grown and feel grateful to been able to help diversify the NPS if only by a little. Although I still have a couple of things to do before I leave this site I just wanted to dedicate a couple things to people I did not get a chance to talk to over the summer because of low communication service available including mail service. Con Amor, Edith Dear Valley Friends, It has been an interesting two months. But in a las' I will be home! I have so many things to share with y'all once I get back ,but just know that the lack of communication was not voluntary. I legit have been on limited access to the web and cellular service even mail service, Geez. Just know that you have been in my thoughts and there would be times where I would burst out laughing cause I would randomly remember random moments at work about you guys. You guys are so irreplaceable. I do not know what I did in the previous life to have friends much like yourselves. You are not basic in any way~ hah. I have met some great people during my time here and I swear I saw doppelganger of you all,but in a different ethnicity. Hah, it was insane! Maybe I was just seeing things ,but at least it gives you an idea of how much I missed you. I learned so much in my time here at the Monument that you will see me as All-knowledgeable. I know all about the volcanoes, and the caves, plants, animals, you name it hah. But that'll be till I see you! P.S I bought Ozzfest Tickets!! Stay Gold, The Wise One   Dear Readers and That Special Someone,  Thanks for reading my blog post and following up with my adventures here at Craters of the Moon National Monument. Although it seems like I have not been away for long (to readers) it felt like forever. I gained so much knowledge and skills in my time here that I feel when I go back home I have a better understanding of who I am and where I am at. I already felt like I was here for a reason bigger than my own and its been great. I have gained not only professional skills but personally as well. I came here with a particular mindset and that was to gain as much professional knowledge as possible. I have gotten so much more although the place here is not as diverse as what I am use to. I have been able to find a place for myself here and make so many amazing connections with just amazing people. Working for the National Park service has given me some insight on what this job is all about and I love it! I encourage all of you to try something new because you might end up liking what you do! I look forward to continue to work for places such as these in California because I feel as though I can contribute to the National Park Service and what it has to offer its visitor which is knowledge, community, and great tours! Thanks for reading, Edith
