The Week Is Here!

We are finishing up celebrating Latino Conservation Week by posting the final video of our 3 videos. We focused on the nature and the ways that our community continues to use their culture to conserve our environment. We got many likes and comments on our Facebook pages.

Exploring the Missions!

We are preparing for Latino Conservation Week! Tanya, another LHIP intern, met up to record some shots of the missions, while being socially distanced of course. Our three-part mini video series is about the history and natural resources of the missions. We are focusing on Mission Espada, Mission San Jose, and Mission San Juan.

Thinking Ahead

We are planning great things here at San Antonio Missions! We have thought of ways to incorporate our Hispanic community in our social media posts. Seeing as how the missions were built by Spaniards, we hope to incorporate some of that language into our content. The harsh history of the missions should also not be erased, so we are careful in not sugar-coating the ugly truth.
