Cecilia Arteaga

Class of 2017

Cecilia Arteaga is a recent graduate of Pepperdine University. Her major was Intercultural Communication with a minor in Ethnic Studies. During her senior year, Cecilia was chapter president for the Public Relations Student Society of America, Chair of the Executive Council for the American Enterprise Institute, and a Career Ambassador at the Career Center, among other roles. Cecilia participated in her school’s Career Coaching program, studied abroad in London, and spent a semester in Washington, D.C.  Throughout her time in college, Cecilia completed four internships at a Hispanic advertising agency, a think tank in D.C., a national nonprofit for Latino civil rights, and a top global public relations firm. Cecilia is a first generation college student and daughter of Mexican immigrants. She hopes to work in spaces where marketing meets advocacy, and where creativity rises from adversity. Cecilia is excited to create and learn from LHIP!
