Naomi Doddington

Class of 2015

Originally from Rio Piedras, Puerto Rico, Naomi is a Graduate Fellow in the joint Clemson University and College of Charleston Master of Science in Historic Preservation program. She is spending the summer of 2015 as an architecture intern with the Heritage Documentation Programs division of the National Park Service (H.A.B.S., H.A.L.S., & H.A.E.R.). In addition to her interest in historic buildings, Naomi enjoys reading, ballroom dancing, acting, and art. She is a passionate advocate for issues relating to social justice and is focusing her thesis research on studying the results of programs implemented in the 1990’s in Charleston, S.C. which had the stated aim of preserving the social fabric of a neighborhood in the face of the forces of gentrification.
