Latino Outreach Coordinator

Dalia is from Maracay, Venezuela. She moved to the U.S. in 2009 to pursue a Ph.D. in 2009, but due to the current regime’s persecution, she and her family made Colorado home. During her 10 years in the state, she has become a mover and shaker in Latino communities, working with, engaging and mobilizing the under-represented communities, starting with middle and high schools students to whole families along the Colorado Front Range. She serves as EFTA’s liaison to Latino communities in the US and Latin America and manages the Latino Heritage Internship Program. Dalia is currently an appointed Official to Boulder County Commissioners’ Advisory Committee. She served on the board of the Latino Task Force and the Americas Latino Eco Festival.

Dalia has an encompassing experience in strategic planning, marketing, market research, community engagement, and corporate and diplomatic communications. Her background includes working with large corporations, government and multilateral organizations as well as non-profits. Dalia has a BS in Civil Engineering, BA Education, and an MBA.
